MANY PET OWNERS CAN AGREE THAT DOGS ARE MORE THAN JUST PETS; THEY ARE CONSIDERED CLOSE FRIENDS OR EVEN MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY. DOGS ENJOY ROVING OUTDOORS, BUT IT ISN’T ALWAYS POSSIBLE FOR THEIR HUMAN COMPANIONS TO ACCOMPANY THEM. KEEPING CANINES SAFE WHILE ALLOWING THEM FREEDOM TO ROAM CAN BE COSTLY & DIFFICULT. UNDERGROUND WIRE SYSTEMS CAN BECOME DAMAGED & CERTAIN BREEDS CAN CLIMB, JUMP, OR DIG BENEATH TRADITIONAL FENCING, RENDERING BOTH OPTIONS INEFFECTIVE. G-P-S FENCES PROVIDE RELIABLE CONTAINMENT BUT AT A GREATER CONVENIENCE, WITH MORE FLEXIBILITY, & VALUE FOR THE DOLLAR THAN TRADITIONAL FENCING OPTIONS. SPOT-ON G-P-S FENCING UTILIZES GROUNDBREAKING PATENTED TRUE LOCATION TECHNOLOGY & GLOBAL SATELLITES TO SAFELY & EFFECTIVELY CONTAIN DOGS, GRANTING DOG OWNERS PEACE OF MIND.

Please BRIEFLY discuss why effective dog containment is so important. (I.e., it keeps dogs safe from getting hit by cars, keeps them out of neighbor’s spaces/areas with wild animals, saves people who use dogs for animal herding time from looking for their dogs on a large property, etc.) Why is GPS fencing an ideal choice for dog containment as opposed to other options? (I.e., it’s more cost-effective overall, more convenient as fences can be set up anywhere, owners can pinpoint exactly where their dog is, etc.) Who can best benefit from this type of technology? (I.e., anyone with ample land space, farmers, etc.) Does GPS fencing require a subscription for monitoring?

SPOT-ON HAS REINVENTED THE DOG CONTAINMENT INDUSTRY, SWAPPING CONVENTIONAL WIRES & BASE STATIONS WITH G-P-S TECHNOLOGY. SPOT-ON’S EASY-TO-USE VIRTUAL FENCE G-P-S SYSTEM IS THE WORLD’S FIRST WIRELESS FENCE, GRANTING DOG OWNERS A MIX OF RELIABILITY & CONVENIENCE IN TODAY’S WIRELESS WORLD. CREATE UNLIMITED FENCING FROM ONE-AND-A-HALF TO THOUSANDS OF ACRES WITH THE SPOT-ON COLLAR & SMARTPHONE APP & LET YOUR DOG LIVE LIFE UNLEASHED. THE PROCESS IS SIMPLE: SET UP THE BOUNDARY & LEAVE YOUR DOG TO GO ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS WHILE YOU GO ABOUT YOUR DAY. THE VIRTUAL FENCE USES THE POWER OF 128 GLOBAL SATELLITES & A HIGHLY SENSITIVE DUAL FEED ANTENNA & PATENTED ALGORITHMS TO PREDICT YOUR DOG’S TRUE LOCATION WITHIN A THREE-FOOT RADIUS. AI-DRIVEN ALGORITHMS PAIR G-P-S DATA WITH INERTIAL SENSORS IN THE DOG’S COLLAR THAT TRACK THE DOG’S DIRECTION, SPEED, & TRAJECTORY. THE ALGORITHMS REMOVE G-P-S’ INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SUCH AS DRIFT, MULTI-PATH SIGNALS, & INTERFERENCE, POSITIONING THE DOG WITH MORE ACCURACY THAN OTHER CONTAINMENT & TRACKING SYSTEMS ON THE MARKET. VIRTUAL FENCING IS COMPLETELY FLEXIBLE, GRANTING DOG OWNERS THE ABILITY TO GENERATE UNLIMITED FENCES AT HOME, ON THE GO, OR EVEN IF THEY MOVE.

What is the mission of SpotOn? Please discuss the concepts and principles your organization was founded on, as well as its main objectives and focus. (This would be a good place to mention how the founder of SpotOn first came up with the idea of virtual fencing in 2015 after talking to an irrigation company owner who was frustrated about replacing buried wire fences that broke during installations, the founder asked a systems engineer if he could apply GPS technology to design a better solution, the technology uses a similar methodology that’s kept dogs safe for 50 years, etc.) How accurate is SpotOn’s GPS? How has this technology benefited farmers who use it on their guardian dogs?

 (VOICE-OVER #3):
FOR SUBURBAN SUBDIVISIONS TO RURAL LANDOWNERS IN FARMING COMMUNITIES, WIRELESS FENCING IS A HIGH-TECH SOLUTION TO A COMMON ISSUE FOR DOG OWNERS. SPOT-ON’S G-P-S FENCING IS THIRD-PARTY TESTED & RECOGNIZED AS THE MOST RELIABLE G-P-S FENCE AVAILABLE. FENCES CAN BE SET UP ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, REGARDLESS OF GEOGRAPHY OR WEATHER, WORKING ACROSS WATER & TERRAIN. THE BOUNDARIES ARE EASY TO MANAGE FROM YOUR PHONE, MAKING IT SIMPLE TO SET UP KEEP-OUT ZONES WHERE YOU DON’T WANT YOUR DOG TO WANDER. DOG OWNERS RECEIVE STATUS NOTIFICATIONS THROUGH THE APP ABOUT THEIR DOG’S WHEREABOUTS & CAN RECALL THEIR DOG IN REAL TIME. SPOT-ON IS SHIFTING THE PARADIGM FOR DOG OWNERS EVERYWHERE.

Please BRIEFLY explain how SpotOn’s virtual fencing technology works. How do owners train their dogs to comply with this type of fencing? How long does it typically take owners to train their dogs with this technology? What happens if a dog crosses a boundary? Does the dog receive a static correction upon re-entry? How does recalling a dog with this technology work? How is the collar powered? How long does the collar stay charged?
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO ADD CAN BE ASKED HERE.

SPOT-ON’S UNIQUE TRACKING & CONTAINING SYSTEM IS SEAMLESS FOR EVERYDAY USE. SOME DOG TRACKING SYSTEMS ARE INHIBITED BY FOLIAGE – SPOT-ON’S DUAL-FEED ANTENNA DYNAMICALLY FILTERS OUT THE NOISE, MAINTAINING PERFORMANCE EVEN UNDER HEAVY COVER FROM TREES, BRUSH, BUSHES, OR BUILDINGS. IF YOUR DOG ESCAPES FROM A FENCE, SPOT-ON INDICATES WHEN & WHERE YOUR DOG IS ESCAPING WITH ESCAPE REPORTS, NOTIFYING YOU WITHIN SECONDS. USE THE APP TO CALL YOUR DOG HOME & A LIGHT CAN BE ACTIVATED ON THE COLLAR FOR INCREASED VISIBILITY AT NIGHT. YOUR DOG CAN’T BECOME STUCK OUTSIDE A VIRTUAL FENCE EITHER – THE TECHNOLOGY ONLY ISSUES A CORRECTION UPON ESCAPE & NEVER UPON RETURNING TO THE INSIDE OF THE BOUNDARY. SPOT-ON’S TECHNOLOGY ALLOWS YOU TO SET A PERIMETER AROUND YOUR HOME, PERMITTING YOUR DOG TO BE INDOORS & NEVER EXPERIENCING FALSE WARNINGS OR CORRECTIONS. FENCE BOUNDARIES WILL REMAIN CONSISTENT OVER TIME & ARE ALWAYS READY TO GO, SO NO MATTER WHAT THE DAY BRINGS, YOUR DOG IS PROTECTED.

(A great place to mention how you will expand GPS-related dog products, especially as more people are moving out of cities, continue to improve convenience and flexibility in dog care, continue expanding IoT devices, make products that make dog ownership easier and make life more fulfilling for the dogs, etc.) If there’s one message you’d like to convey about how GPS fences can provide reliable, cost-effective containment, what would that be?

What is a lens flare?: A lens flare is a response to bright light, such as the sun that leaves starbursts, circles, or rings in a row across an image. The non-image-forming light reflects off the lens elements, the diaphragm, and the sensor, generating artifacts in the footage.

Not all lens flares are alike, in fact, there are various types: veiling, ghosts, sensor, and anamorphic lens flares.

What’s a veiling lens flare?: it commonly transpires when a bright light source (like the sun) is outside the lens’s angle of view. The result is hazy, with a lack of contrast effect.

What’s a ghost lens flare?: are all of the artifacts that are visible in the image, whether it’s reflections of the light source or shapes similar to the lens diaphragm.

What’s a sensor lens flare?:
Different from lens flares as they are not just light getting reflected by lens elements and the diaphragm but are light reflected from the imaging sensor to the lens and then back to the imaging sensor.

What is an anamorphic lens flare?: these flares are created by a type of lens that captures a wider field of view without distorting the image.

A Beginner’s Guide to a good workflow for post-production video editing

  • Plan your shoots for success. Decide what shots are needed and how best to get the right ones way before you even get to the first shoot day.
  • Always pay attention to the details when shooting. You don’t want a mishap like a takeaway coffee cup to appear in the scene where it doesn’t belong (Ahem, Game of Thrones).
  • Stay organized. No one enjoys hunting for misplaced video files while editing. So, knowing how your editing software imports and stores files can be very beneficial.
  • By developing a good file management system for your assets at the very beginning, you can stay organized and prevent yourself from a maddening experience tracking down missing clips later.

  • How to make your edits easier? Become familiar with the shortcuts for your editing program. Knowing the shortcuts will minimize the time it takes to execute many actions.

  • Use an EQ filter to clean up dialogue in your edits. If there’s a lot of hum in the background, it can be toned down using the low-shelf frequency and adjusting the mid-shelf to make the dialogue crisper.

Instagram Captions:

  • We all know how the right song can make or break a scene. It can take your audience from laughing to crying and feeling everything in between. Solve your audio woes with royalty-free tracks available exclusively at ClipStock.
  • From animals to cityscapes, mouthwatering foods, and awe-inspiring travel destinations, we have clips of everything editors, and creators need to intercut or tie together primary shots to achieve a cohesive story.
  • Why use stock video? Sometimes a script may dictate the story travels beyond the U.S. borders. Sending out a crew may not be affordable, possible with time constraints, or even unsafe. Stock footage can take the place of sending out a crew, helping you fill out a storyline in a way that is affordable and quick.
  • Music licensing can be tricky, especially when you’re on a tight budget. That’s why we offer royalty-free tracks, so that no matter your project, you’ll have the perfect song available at your fingertips at a cost-efficient price.

List article written for a blogger covering cafés in Toronto, Canada.

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages globally, with billions of cups consumed yearly. Many individuals begin their day with coffee, and many make that first cup at home. Yet, few things are worse than looking forward to that caffeine jolt and finding an empty bag of beans waiting for you instead. Then, you’re forced to look outward for a coffee house along the way to work, errands, or appointments.

Maybe you have a favorite spot or look to the internet for a quick search and hope you don’t run out of time. Whether you need that emergency cup of caffeine or you’re simply looking to try something new instead of your usual brew, here is a compiled list of 15 of Toronto, Canada’s best (and most unique) coffee shops.

  1. Rooster Coffee House
Covering you from breakfast to lunch, Rooster Coffee House boasts a wide array of baked goods, wraps, sandwiches, and salads in addition to their coffee and tea offerings. Eight specialty bakers provide their pastries and bread daily. Dietary concerns? Rooster Coffee House has your back. They offer several gluten-free, soy-free, and vegan options on the menu.
  2. Dineen Outpost
Located in one of Toronto’s oldest structures, Dineen Outpost is listed as Toronto Heritage Property. They craft solid lattes, but the building itself is worth a visit. It has mosaic-tiled floors, natural light, double-height ceilings, and seating intended for hours of sipping and lounging.
  3. FIKA Café
The Swedish-inspired FIKA Café takes its name from the Swedish verb meaning “to go out for coffee.” It is located in the heart of Kensington Market, in a blue house. FIKA Café’s airy interiors create an ideal place to meet a friend for a cup of coffee or sit down with a good book (the back room features an entire wall lined with old books!).
  4. Strange Love
Strange Love, a mood-enhancing café, has gone beyond giving people energy with its award-winning coffee. It has worked with a naturopathic doctor to create adaptogenic mushroom-powered products that help you relax, focus, and energize. Choose from one of its three boosters to add to your coffee, latte, or tea for a beverage that helps you accomplish what you need.
  5. Fahrenheit Coffee
Independent coffee chain Fahrenheit Coffee has been voted the best Specialty Coffee House in Toronto since 2012, and it’s easy to see why. Three different espresso origins that rotate seasonally are always on tap, three locations, and a well-versed staff on brewing practices. Scones, croissants, and cookies are available to pair with your drink of choice.
  6. NEO Coffee Bar
NEO Coffee Bar is an oasis away from the busy hustle in downtown Toronto. Sit back in their minimalist interiors and enjoy one of their Japanese-style pastries and specialty drinks. (Try the Kurogoma Hojicha Latte – a Japanese-inspired latte with organic milk, black sesame, and hojicha.)
  7. Tandem Coffee
Tandem Coffee features blond wood benches and tables that create a zen feeling and a living wall of plants that bring the outdoors indoors. The multiple seating options provide the ultimate space for catching up on work e-mails. With its light atmosphere, you almost don’t mind. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff serves Black Sesame and Matcha Azuki Lattes with care.
  8. Versus coffee
If you like to sit outdoors while you enjoy your afternoon latte, then Versus Coffee is a must-stop. Their umbrella-covered patio can accommodate more than 40 people. If a seasonal cocktail sounds more like your speed than a latte, they have you covered with options like the Chili Bone, which features rum, Dancing Goats espresso, chili syrup, and chocolate bitters.
  9. The Library Specialty Coffee
The Library Specialty Coffee is an Australian-inspired coffeehouse that serves espresso-based beverages and pour-over coffees. With its unique “standing room only” tile mosaic flooring at the entrance and unconventional furnishings (milk crates and stumps are utilized as chairs), the Library Specialty Coffee invokes the vibe of a typical Aussie café.
  10. Boxcar Social
Offerings up for grabs at Boxcar Social go beyond coffee. This hangout spot is ideal for when you want to switch over from coffee in the evening to something a little stronger. They have five different yet similar locations with a warm industrial appearance. In addition to the rotating coffee selections, they have wine, beer, whiskey, and pizza.
  11. Jimmy’s Coffee
Who is Jimmy of Jimmy’s Coffee? Jimmy Hoffa, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Carter, your dad Jimmy — all your favorite Jimmy’s. The interiors are rustic and cozy at Jimmy’s, and every cup is topped with the signature yellow lid. Experts roast the Toronto establishment’s coffee in the traditional Italian style.
  12. Little Pebbles
The artisanal bakery and coffee shop, Little Pebbles, creates freshly baked in-house treats using high-quality French and Japanese ingredients. They specialize in Asian-inspired French desserts that are unique (Croissant Cube, anyone?) and full of flavor (Check out the Black Sesame Chiffon Cake!).
  13. Rustle and Still Café
Rustle and Still Café is a plant-filled café that pays homage to the owners’ Vietnamese heritage. The café is voted as one of Toronto’s best Banh Mi spots. In addition to Banh Mi sandwiches, they serve salads and ready-to-go chilled coffees like their popular Viet Iced Coffee. Their Arabica coffee beans come from farmers in Vietnam.
  14. Balzac’s Coffee Roasters
Bringing Canadians together for over 25 years, Balzac’s Coffee Roasters took inspiration from the
grand cafes found in Paris. The design for each of the 17 establishments embodies its location’s cultural nuances and historical significance, which yields a distinctive personality to each café. So, even after you visit one of Balzac’s locations, it’s worth venturing over to the others.
  15. HotBlack Coffee
Featured in CNN, the New York Times, BBC, and The Tonight Show, HotBlack Coffee is known for its world-class coffee, treats, and community involvement. Located on Queen Street West, their striking red exteriors and rock and roll tattoo-inspired logo are hard to miss.

Stock footage saves time, money, and is the answer to the impossible

Editing videos can be time-consuming and expensive, but the editing process can be affordable and streamlined with unlimited stock video libraries.

In a fast-paced world, more and more individuals are finding better ways to manage their time and finances. The film and content-creating industries are no different. Utilizing digital services to get jobs done faster and at a lower rate is becoming more of the norm. Stock footage supplies filmmakers and content creators with the means to create various content cost-effectively and quickly.

What is stock footage?

Stock video, also known as a form of B-roll, is pre-filmed footage that can be purchased and used in various projects. It’s utilized in films, TV shows, ads, and news broadcasts. It is often secondary footage to intercut or tie together primary shots to achieve a cohesive story. The clips can be outtakes from productions or shot with the intention of use for a stock library.

Common stock clips include cityscapes, food, travel destinations, nature, sports, and animals. Editors and content creators alike utilize stock videos to get the job done when the alternatives are too costly, time-consuming, or impossible to achieve.

Even Hollywood isn’t opposed to incorporating stock video into their productions. Many notable films over the years have used stock clips to put together scenes.

Dante’s Pea (1997) featured the 1980 explosion of Mount St Helens, an active volcano in Skamania County, Washington. Without stock video, filmmakers would have had to rely on CGI lava or practical effects, both of which don’t always stick the landing when compared to the real deal.
Stock footage can be a high-quality solution to create a story that shines.

Why use stock video footage?

Stock video is financially responsible

Filming costs can quickly add up. Between purchasing or renting cameras, lighting rigs, tripods and stabilizers, editing software, memory cards, travel fees, and more, it can be easy to go over budget. Stock footage can make it possible to get the shot while keeping more of your money in your wallet.

With stock video, there are two primary business models: subscription-based and pay-per-clip. You don’t outright buy the clip, but the rights to utilize it in your project. While purchasing individual clips can be helpful for a one-time project, subscriptions provide more value. The user is given access to a wide variety of clips that can be used for numerous projects.

Sometimes an ad may need a more diverse cast of actors, but the budget won’t cover a range of demographics. Using stock video can ensure ads are more inclusive without driving up costs.

Make the impossible possible with stock video

A script may dictate the storyline extends beyond United States borders to remote locations or past historical events. Sending a crew out to the destination to film may not be possible from a financial, time, or safety standpoint. Nor can a videographer journey to the past to capture a landmark moment. Plugging in stock clips can fill those spots to keep the narrative cohesive.

Often when filming, what can go wrong will go wrong. Weather, accidents, and any other unforeseen delays can and will happen. Paying for additional days of filming isn’t always possible.

What do you use stock footage for?

Stock video for advertising needs

Commercials may not require an original video to sell a product or idea. B-roll can come in as primary footage, allowing the ability to piece together scenes that would otherwise be costly.

For example, a general advertisement for medicine, insurance, or a dating site may utilize clips of smiling couples, people playing sports, or a group of individuals seated around a table enjoying a meal together. Stock footage prices would be far less than hiring a group of actors, renting a set, and enlisting the expertise of a camera crew.

Improve social media output with stock footage

In addition to making movies, television shows, and ads, stock videos can be helpful for social media purposes. Video-based social media apps like TikTok and Instagram are rapidly growing.

A constant video presence is crucial for a brand to make and keep its name known. Keeping up with daily posts and challenges can be time-consuming. Making use of stock video can help you create high-quality video posts quickly.

Stock Footage for backgrounds

Sometimes a clip or montage is needed for something as simple as a background video for a website. Or a video could be required to display on a screen while an audience waits for an event to begin, like at a concert or conference. Stock-footage libraries are home to countless clips, covering a wide span of categories to fit any mood or idea.

How do I choose the right stock footage?

Take into consideration not only the look and feel you’re going for but also the technicalities. Seek stock clips that match what you have. If your footage was shot in 4K, find 4K stock footage, not a lower resolution. Be sure you can download the size and quality you need; standard, HD, 4K, etc. Not all stock sites provide a variety of sizes and resolutions, whereas ClipStock offers a broad selection.

Also, ensure the stock clips accurately convey your idea. Perhaps your storyline takes place in a small town in the U.S. Midwest. You don’t want footage that is obviously showcasing Italy or Paris. Well-known landmarks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa or the Eiffel Tower are dead giveaways of European cities. Most stock video sites offer some generic-city footage that appears as though it could have been filmed anywhere.

Wrap-up:

Stock footage can be the time and money-saving answer to your cinema, advertising, or social media needs. Whatever type of video content you need is available at the click of a button, whether 1080p or 8K. Royalty-free stock video can be the answer to making multiple TikTok videos daily for your brand. Or it can be useful for inserting shots into a documentary that otherwise would be difficult to finish.

If it rains on the day you need sunny drone footage of a metropolitan city, stock footage can be the solution. Stock video can solve many of the issues digital creators face.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is a self-guided museum where an expansive collection of oddities are displayed across three floors. Shrunken heads, wax figures, the world’s smallest production car, and more are to be found amongst the first Ripley’s museum exhibits. Throughout the space are several interactive activities for the entire family to enjoy. Tickets to Ripley’s museum include free parking, and there is an option to add on a tour of the city with the Red Trolley Tours. If you are considering a trolley tour as part of your St. Augustine activities, the bundled package of Ripley’s tickets and Red Trolley tours is less costly than many of the stand-alone trolley tours.

Aim for a Hole-In-One:

Amongst the many sight-seeing and museum activities, St. Augustine offers fun mini-golf courses for all ages. Fiesta Falls Miniature Golf is an award-winning golf course showcasing waterfalls, a 65-foot ship, and ocean views. At night, a lighted course is offered as a more challenging option. Anastasia Miniature Golf boasts an 18-hole course with a pirate ship. Both golf courses’ admission fees are under $15 per person, making them some of the more affordable activities for larger groups of
people.

Sip From the Fountain of Youth
https://www.fountainofyouthflorida.com/

First explored in 1513 by Ponce de Leon, the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is the original site of America’s oldest city. The park boasts 15 waterfront acres and exhibits that inform visitors about the Spanish settlers who came to St. Augustine hundreds of years ago. There are a variety of living history reenactments, shows, and peacocks on-site, and visitors get to take a drink from the Fountain of Youth. Parking is free of charge.

Explore Exotic Creatures
https://www.sawildreserve.org/

Home to many exotic animals, the St. Augustine Wild Reserve is a sanctuary for abused and unwanted exotic animals where guests can see the amazing creatures up close. The reserve houses several large cat breeds, wolves, bears, and others. Tour guides navigate guests through the reserve, informing attendees about the different creatures along the way. The sanctuary is not a typical zoo experience, as tours must be reserved in advance. Be sure to show up 10-15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork.

Take a Bite of Something Sweet
https://www.whetstonechocolates.com/Default.asp

End your travels around the city on a sweet note with a tour of the Whetstone Chocolate Factory. The 45-minute tour takes attendees on an adventure of learning about the different types of chocolate and the secrets of chocolate making. Of course, samples are part of the experience. Groups of up to 15 people are allowed, making it an ideal activity to bring the entire family.

Extra Tips:

When planning a trip to the Oldest City, you may want to consider a wintertime experience. Kicking off in November and running through January, St. Augustine becomes clothed in an award-winning holiday light display, Night of Lights. The festival of lights is rated amongst National Geographic’s top ten light displays in the world.

Parking in St. Augustine can quickly rack up costs if you’re not careful. While many metered parking spots vary in price per hour, flat-rate parking lots are also available. If you’re arranging a full day of activities, seek out one of the flat-rate lots for the day. The cost is often cheaper, and you can leave your car and easily get around on foot as most of the sought-out activities are within walking distance.

In addition to walking around St. George Street, St. Augustine beach on Anastasia Island is a free activity. The pier includes a splash zone that kids also enjoy.

PROTEIN PROVIDES ESSENTIAL NUTRITION FOR A HEALTHY BODY – IT HELPS KEEP YOU FULL, BUILDS MUSCLE, & IS BENEFICIAL TO YOUR BONES – BUT DID YOU KNOW PROTEIN CAN ALSO BE THE ANSWER TO SATISFYING YOUR SWEET TOOTH? CUTTING BACK ON OR CLOSELY MONITORING ONE’S SUGAR INTAKE IS A GOAL MANY SEEK TO ACHIEVE TO BOOST GENERAL WELL-BEING OR MANAGE HEALTH ISSUES. HOWEVER, SUGAR REDUCTION CAN BE TRICKY, AS SUGAR IS LARGELY PREVALENT IN MANY PACKAGED FOODS. GLOBALLY, OUR FOOD SYSTEM IS OVERLOADED WITH ULTRA-PROCESSED FOOD PRODUCTS THAT SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT CHRONIC CONDITIONS LIKE OBESITY & TYPE 2 DIABETES. HOWEVER, A SWEETER, HEALTHIER OPTION CAN BE FOUND IN NATURE. SWEET PROTEINS, NATURALLY DERIVED FROM FRUIT USING PRECISION FERMENTATION, PROVIDE A GAME-CHANGING SWEET ALTERNATIVE THAT IS BETTER FOR YOUR BLOOD SUGAR, YOUR GUT, & YOUR OVERALL WELLNESS.

(SOUND-BITE #1):
Please BRIEFLY discuss what sweet proteins are. Where do sweet proteins come from? How do sweet proteins work? Why are sweet proteins a better alternative for the planet than sugar? Why are sweet proteins a better alternative to other sweeteners? (I.e., they aren’t artificial, they are easier on the gut than other sugar replacements like sugar alcohols, etc.) Who are sweet proteins a good option for? (I.e., people with diabetes, anyone with gut issues, people looking to cut back on sugar intake for general wellness, etc.)

OPERATING UNDER A BELIEF THAT FOOD SHOULD NOT ONLY TASTE GOOD BUT DO GOOD, OOBLI PRODUCTS ARE ALSO GOOD FOR THE PLANET. SWEET PROTEINS PROVIDE A WAY TO TANTALIZE TASTE BUDS WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE ENVIRONMENT IN THE WAY CONVENTIONAL SUGAR PRODUCTION NEGATIVELY IMPACTS CLIMATE CHANGE.

What is the mission of Oobli? (To not just create your own products, but to enable the food and restaurant industry as a whole to create better products with Oobli sweet proteins that are both good for us and the planet, etc.) Please discuss the concepts and principles your food technology company was founded on, as well as its main objectives and focus. (This would be a good place to mention how Oobli was based on early sweet proteins research that came from one of the founder’s mothers having cancer, how the research for Miraculin is known for helping people recover their taste after losing it from certain conditions, etc.)

OUR TYPICAL, EVERYDAY DIETS ARE OFTEN FILLED WITH MORE REFINED SUGAR THAN WE REALIZE, & OUR BODIES HAVE BECOME DEPENDENT ON THE SUGAR, CRAVING IT TO AN UNHEALTHY DEGREE. MANY AMERICANS ARE CLASSIFIED AS OBESE & COUNTLESS OTHERS HAVE DEVELOPED DIABETES & OTHER HEALTH CONDITIONS FROM POOR DIETARY OPTIONS. SWEET PROTEINS CAN AID IN LOWERING OUR DEPENDENCE ON SUGAR. THOUSANDS OF TIMES SWEETER THAN SUGAR, THEY ARE SIMPLY PROTEINS THAT OUR BODIES DIGEST JUST LIKE ANY OTHER PROTEIN. OOBLI’S LOW-CALORIE, PLANT-BASED CHOCOLATES ARE A BETTER FOOD SOLUTION THAT CAN HELP REDUCE RELIANCE ON SUGAR, HELPING PEOPLE TO TAKE BACK CONTROL OF THEIR HEALTH.
Chris Morell

(SOUND-BITE #3):
How much sweeter are sweet proteins than sugar? Are sweet proteins healthy? Are sweet proteins natural? Is there a lot of protein in sweet protein products? Are Oobli products made with GMOs? What types of dietary concerns are Oobli products suitable for? (I.e., diabetic, low-sugar, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, gut-health, etc.) What do you feel sets Oobli apart from other brands in this space that create products using sugar alternatives?

 (VOICE-OVER #4):
UNFORTUNATELY, OUR FOOD PRODUCTION SYSTEM IS A LEADING CONTRIBUTOR TO ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION. THE WORLD NEEDS BETTER, MORE SUSTAINABLE FOOD OPTIONS THAT ARE HEALTHIER FOR OUR BODIES & THE PLANET. SUGAR CANE PRODUCTION GREATLY IMPACTS CLIMATE CHANGE. EVERY 1% REDUCTION IN SUGAR PRODUCTION REPRESENTS 650,000 ACRES OF LAND SAVED. SWEET PROTEINS HAVE A LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT, LEADING TO HEALTHIER ECOSYSTEMS. PRECISION FERMENTATION TECHNOLOGY IS A SAFE, WELL-ESTABLISHED METHOD FOR PRODUCING PROTEINS THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES – IT’S A SUSTAINABLE WAY TO MEET THOSE CRAVINGS FOR SWEETNESS WITHOUT NEGATIVELY IMPACTING THE PLANET.
Jason Ryder

(SOUND-BITE #4):
Please BRIEFLY describe how the fermentation process works. (How does it compare to brewing beer?) There are several different sweet proteins – Oobli uses brazzein – why was this the ideal sweet protein for your products? (I.e., it tastes the most like sugar, maintains its structure over a wide range of temperatures, etc.) Please briefly explain how precision fermentation helps with crop reduction. (I.e., you can use local, region-specific sugar supply as the food for fermentation, which reduces the carbon footprint as you’re not shipping raw materials, etc.)

What are some of the future plans of Oobli? (A great place to mention your new line of Sweet Teas; how you have an ambitious B2C and B2B strategy, including launching new Oobli products lines (direct to consumer) and partnering with big CPG companies and restaurants to create healthy, game-changing products with Oobli sweet proteins, etc.) If there’s one message you’d like to convey about how sweet proteins can change the world for the better, what would that be?
